Overview

Glide across the gorge for a bird’s-eye view of the bridge.

The bright red gondola cabins glide 2,200 feet across the gorge, about 1,200 feet above the Arkansas River, with wide-open views of the bridge, the river and the mountain ranges beyond.

Rides are included with general admission, and you can ride as often as you like during your visit. Standard cabins hold up to eight guests, and two clear-floor cabins hold up to six for a look straight down.

Know before you go

Requirements
  • Standard cabins: up to 8 guests.
  • Clear-floor cabins: up to 6 guests.
  • Wheelchairs up to 30 inches wide fit in the cabins.
Good to know
  • No reservation needed. Ride as many times as you like.
  • Ride early in the day, before the afternoon winds pick up.
  • Leashed, friendly dogs may ride in standard cabins at the operator’s discretion. Dogs are not allowed in clear-floor cabins.
  • The south deck has no ramp, so wheelchair riders stay on board for the round trip back to the north side.
Wind, lightning and other weather can pause the gondola. If weather stops your ride, have your ticket validated at the ticket counter before you leave for a free return the next day.
